At Akoria, we value your privacy. This policy explains, in compliance with KVKK and GDPR, what data we collect and for what purpose.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account Information: Your name, email address and preferred username.
  • Training Data: Your exercise scores, level, XP points and streak information.
  • Device Information: Anonymous notification tokens provided by push notification services (Apple APNs on iOS, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android) so we can send you notifications.
  • Images: The profile photo you upload at your own request.

2. Purpose of Use and Legal Basis

Your data is used to track your training progress, generate achievement rankings and deliver notifications.

Legal Basis: Your data is processed based on your explicit consent and the performance of the service agreement we provide, within the scope of KVKK and GDPR. The app declares its privacy disclosures (e.g. Apple privacy manifest, Google Play Data Safety form) and required permission justifications in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play requirements.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Your data is never sold to third parties for advertising purposes. Sharing only occurs in the following cases:

  • Training Tracking: If you add a teacher to your account, that teacher can see your training progress.
  • Technical Infrastructure: Your data is securely processed on Supabase, Apple and Google services. Your data may be processed on the infrastructure of service providers located abroad for the purpose of delivering the service.
  • Third-party SDK transparency: Third-party SDKs used in the app (if any) are used only for the security and functionality of the service; they are not used for tracking/advertising.

4. Audio Recordings and Microphone Access

Akoria requests access to your microphone in order to perform audio analysis.

  • Akoria uses microphone access only during exercises and with user interaction.
  • Your audio recordings are never stored on our servers or uploaded to the cloud.
  • Analysis happens instantly on your device and is deleted from local memory as soon as the operation is complete.

5. User Rights and Data Retention

  • Your data is retained as long as your account is active; upon an account deletion request it is irreversibly deleted.
  • You can request permanent deletion of all your data at any time via the "Delete Account" option in the app. After an account deletion request, your data is permanently deleted from our systems within a reasonable period.
